York Museums Trust approached me to help them further engage young audiences and families within The Yorkshire Museums exciting new Exhibition: The Ryedale Hoard: A Roman Mystery. We achieved this with the creation of an illustrated 'Story Teller' activity sheet, along with a series of augmented reality illustrated signs.
We developed four colourful characters to help tell the story of the mystery of the Ryedale Hoard, guiding visitors to question what kind of person might have buried the objects and why. The characters illustrations, along with illustrations of the Hoard objects, were used throughout the signage and activity sheet to create a more captivating and exciting experience for audiences of all ages.
The exhibition is now open at the Yorkshire Museum until March 2024.
